About Me

Hi, I'm Cris Trigg, the owner of Embroidery by Cris. I have been sewing for 60 years and machine embroidering for 30 years. 

 

I discovered my passion for sewing when I was thirteen. After high school, I enrolled in a fashion design program at a local college, where I honed my skills and learned everything I could about the industry. However, as life sometimes does, my plans took a detour when I decided to start a family. While I put my fashion design dreams on hold, I never lost my love for sewing. I continued to design pieces in my free time, creating custom gifts for friends and family while working full-time at Missouri Sewing Company.​ 

 

Eventually, I turned my passion for embroidery and sewing into a business. I founded Embroidery by Cris in 2016. I work with a variety of materials and love to add a personal touch to every item I create. I take the time to get to know my customers and their needs and work closely with them to create unique custom pieces. My customers trust me with their heirloom items, knowing I will treat them with the utmost care and respect. ​Nothing is more rewarding than seeing the joy on my customers' faces when they receive their custom pieces. Whether it's a monogrammed baby blanket or a personalized wedding gift, I take pride in knowing that I'm helping to create memories that will last a lifetime.
